This is a question many of our clients seem to be asking. COVID-19 has been an unwelcome reminder of our own mortality. The idea of many people dying has brought up the thought of life insurance for many who never really considered it before.
If you feel like you may be underinsured or you do not yet have a policy in place you may be wondering if there is still time to do so. With social distancing mandates in place for much of the nation, you may assume your insurance agent’s office is closed. But the truth is many of us are still hard at work for you.

Will they require a physical exam?
The answer is it depends on the insurer. There are many who do not require a physical.

If you apply for higher coverage terms than an insurance company’s limit, or a question comes up in your interview that requires closer inspection, the insurer could require a simple medical exam that can be done in your home or in a test facility. All exams are done are taking every precaution to make sure no one would be exposed to the virus.
